The Actor Who Played Gregory Goyle Looks Totally Different Now

I can’t say I saw this one coming.

Harry Potter fans will hopefully remember Gregory Goyle as one of Draco Malfoy’s equally-sinister companions (the other being Vincent Crabbe). Back then, Josh Herdman, the actor who played him, looked like the perfect boarding school bully – with just the right amount of British baby face.

Now? The 28-year-old has taken a break from acting in order to pursue a career as a cage fighter.

Cosmopolitan.

And yes, he looks completely different.

Josh Herdman’s Twitter.

Herdman comes from a family of boxers and rugby players, which means that physical, aggressive sports run in his blood. He has already won his first match – which took place in London over the weekend – against Polish fighter, Janusz Walachowski.

Even though he has spent the last couple of years in training, he hasn’t completely given up on acting. “I haven’t fallen out of love with [acting], I still have an agent and still go for auditions,” he said to Addictedotr.com. “It’s just a little bit playing the lottery for a living.

The 28-year-old has also taken the role of father to a son named Morgan, whom he shares with partner, Jessica Worth.

And if you were wondering about Jamie Waylett, the actor who played Crabbe, he was sentenced to two years in prison back in 2012 for taking part in the London riots. Basically, whoever selected these two actors for the Harry Potter movies all of those years ago did a phenomenal job in matching personality to role.
