Prince Harry isn’t walking around singing, “I just can’t wait to be king”…because he’ll probably never get the chance. It’s unfortunate because he’d be the hottest king in history, but one kid wasn’t afraid to ask the the tough question straight to Harry’s face.
While visiting Lambs Lane Primary School in southeast England, a 9-year-old student named Tristan boldly went where most interviewers are afraid to go.
“Are you ever going to be king?” Tristan asked.
“That’s the question everybody wanted, let’s be honest! You’ll be glad to know, probably not,” Harry replied, giving the crowd a good laugh.
“Oh, look at the disappointment! I love that!” he said. He then walked over to Tristan and have him a high-five.
Watch the cute moment below.
FYI, Prince Harry is fifth in line to be the British king. Ahead of him are his father Prince Charles, his brother Prince William, his nephew Prince George, and his niece Princess Charlotte. So there would have to be some pretty bad luck in the family if Prince Harry took the throne.
