Beyonce Just Announced A Brand New Business Endeavour

Only mere moments after making the world endlessly crave lemonade, Beyonce has decided to put her influence behind another beverage: watermelon juice.

On Tuesday, Beyonce announced that she is investing in WTRMLN WTR, a young company that turns “discarded melons” – fruit that would be otherwise be thrown away due to aesthetic flaws, even though they’re still edible – into cold-pressed, 100 percent watermelon juice.

The company was founded in order to promote sustainable farming without compromising on a delicious, high-quality product for consumers.

“I invested in WTRMLN WTR because it’s the future of clean, natural hydration” Bey said in a press release, according to¬†Complex. “As partners, we share a simple mission to deliver accessible wellness to the world. This is more than an investment in a brand, it’s an investment in female leaders, fitness, American farmers and the health of people and our planet.”

Not surprisingly, WTRMLN WTR is hyped that Beyonce is supporting their mission.

“Beyonce is aligned with many of our company’s core values, especially our commitment to empowerment and passion to ‘seed change and spread liquid love’ among fitness enthusiasts,” company co-founder, Jody Levy, said. “She is an inspiring human whose involvement will help educate the world about the importance of putting clean food and drinks into our bodies so that we can all be happy and healthy.”
