The Tony nominations came out this morning, and Jennifer Hudson’s name was not on the list.

The American Idol star is currently on Broadway in The Color Purple as Shug Avery. Her co-stars Cynthia Erivo and Danielle Brooks were both recognized for their roles, but Jennifer was left out.

One fan wasn’t happy about the exclusion, calling it the “ultimate snub.” Jennifer Hudson replied back in a now-deleted tweet that read, “My presence was used for my celebrity, not my talent. I’m not surprised.”

Hmm…who is Jennifer mad at? It’s a little unclear. Having celebs on the stage is a sure why to bring in the audience, but critics praised Jennifer’s performance in reviews. Guess the Tony voters are to blame here.

On Instagram, she sang a different tune. Jennifer shared a photo of the cast with a congratulations for being nominated for Best Revival of a Musical as well as a shout out to her nominated costars.

Luckily, Jennifer can just go home and cry to her Oscar.
