Summertime is here and if you’re not spending your time at the beach, it’s time to start catching up on some awesome shows. And what better way to do that than sit on your couch, pick up a box of Cheez Its, and start binge-watching Netflix?
Here are the seven shows you should be watching on Netflix right now.
7. Gossip Girl
I can’t be the only one who’s obsessed with a certain group of Upper East Siders. Get a taste of the lavish lifestyle of Serena van der Woodsen, Blair Waldorf, Chuck Bass, Nate Archibald, and Dan Humphrey. These friends sure as hell bring the drama.
Take my word on this; THIS SHOW IS AMAZING! I’m not just saying that because the main characters are insanely hot. Supernatural has everything you could possibly want in a show: a bit of mystery, laughs, drama, and romance. Start streaming — you own’t be disappointed.
5. Pretty Little Liars
If you’e anything like me, you are so behind on PLL. Any fan of this show knows that if you don’t catch up on the episodes, you’ll be completely lost when the new season rolls around. If you have never watched Pretty Little Liars before, summer is the best time to binge-watch all six seasons. Be warned, though: once you start watching, there’s no turning back.
4. Grey’s Anatomy
In case you weren’t aware, tons of people have lost their social lives just by watching show. Grey’s Anatomy‘s 11 seasons could make you perfectly content with staying in bed for an entire month and drowning yourself in tears for an additional three weeks. The drama is engulfing, the romances are deep, and the medical cases are intense. If you’re looking to have your life transformed, Dr. McDreamy is here to help.
3. Jane The Virgin
Many of us love Gina Rodriguez, so why not watch her hit show on Netflix this summer? Jane The Virgin is so funny and bizarre that you’ll be totally cool with skipping out on that beach trip.
Monica, Ross, Chandler, Phoebe, Joey, and Rachel. Friends is a show that never gets old and simultaneously manages to get even funnier the more we watch it. Sing the theme song at the top of your lungs, cry over Monica and Ross’s on-again-off-again relationship, and relate to Joey’s unadulterated love for food. It doesn’t get better than that.
1. Orange Is The New Black
This is the pinnacle of binge-watching. With great acting, a solid storyline, and a constant twist, Orange is the New Black is the best show to watch this summer. It’s impossible to watch just one episode a day, so go with your gut on this one and watch the first three seasons in one sitting. Once you’ve done that, you can anxiously await the new season just like the rest of us. Luckily you won’t have to wait as long — return to Litchfield for season four June 17.
