We’ve all experienced those nagging texts and calls from our moms. They ask where we are, if we’re alright, and of course, demand an answer as to why we haven’t kept in touch. Mothers are priceless gems who dedicate most of their lives to raising us and making sure we’re decent human beings. With our busy schedules, it’s difficult to always be in contact, but a man has found a creative solution for this problem using Instagram.
Jonathan Quiñonez, a former model from Brussels, made an account to reassure his mom that he was O.K. wherever he was traveling in the world. Quiñonez’s pictures are of his hot self holding a sign saying “Mom, I’m fine” in beautiful places, in exciting situations, and with exotic women. Currently, momimfine has 115,000 followers.
Through an Imgur post, people have been able to find out more about Quiñonez. The 27-year-old quit modeling because he hated it and instead decided to travel the world. Yet even with his new adventures, he didn’t forget his Mexican mom. Quiñonez’s Instagram says, “Whatever your age is, if you have a Latin mom and a passion for adventure, you will have to find a way to tell her that you are fine.”
Umm he’s hot and loves his mom? Swoon.
In a recent interview he said, “Mums are always worried. Especially mine. It was complicated to be in contact with her so I decided to give a positive message and show her that the world is a beautiful place and that I am fine.”
Jonathan is currently traveling Latin America. If you happen to have extra cash lying around, he would appreciate it coming his way. He’s on the search for a sponsor to help him continue travel past the end of the summer. I have a feeling someone will help him out.
Yet Cosmopolitan got the scoop on Quiñonez’s secret motive, “If you look at my Instagram account, I’m just following one person. Her name is Daniela. I [have liked her for] years. She doesn’t know I’m doing this. I just hope that one day she will find out and that she will like it.” OMG, that’s a modern Prince Charming. It’s time to catch on, girl.
