Amanda Warfel, 25, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct for having sex too loud. She was apparently so loud that her neighbor had to give her children headphones so that they could sleep. Her neighbors – Tanya Saylor, her terminally-ill husband and their five children – told the York Daily Record that they’ve been dealing with the noise for two years. When it first happened, they knocked on her door and asked her to quiet down.
Warfel, in response, did not quiet down. In fact, she taunted her neighbors’ daughters by describing “the acts loudly enough for the girls to hear.” She would also scream out the names of Saylor’s daughters in the midst of her sex and call out threats to the family.
“She harassed my kids for two years,” Saylor said. “We let it go for two years. I shouldn’t have let it go that long. I should have started calling the police a year ago.”
Luckily for the Saylors, the nightmare is finally over. Warfel pleaded guilty today to disorderly conduct and harassment charges. The judge sentenced her to 45 to 90 days in York County Prison, which she has already served.
The judge also told Warfel that she should, under no circumstances, have any contact with her neighbors.
“And I will not,” Warfel replied.
