After taking a break from making new music, Miley Cyrus has released a new song with her actress and BFF, Zoe Kravitz.
Cyrus, along with Kravitz’s band Lolawolf dropped the single “Teardrop” yesterday and it is definitely like nothing we have ever heard from Miley Cyrus before. The song has an electro-pop feel to it and even features a spoken word interlude.
If you listen closely to the lyrics, the song tells the story of a girl falling in love with another girl. After listening to “Teardrop” a few times, you begin to be mesmerized by its uniquely, interesting sound. It’s a surprising song from the risk-taking singers.
Let’s hope that this means there’s an album from Miley coming out sometime soon, as the song is an indicator of possibly amazing music ahead.
