“My hometown is awesome because it is by the beach. I am from Carlsbad, CA and I live in walking distance from the beach and spend as much time as I can there when I am at home. I love the laid back atmosphere and how easygoing everyone is.”

“I major in International Affairs and minor in Spanish. Upon graduating, I want to serve in the Peace Corps or another humanitarian based organization. After I do my service to humanity and travel, I would like to attend law school or graduate school, and then following that, I want to pursue a career in politics, primarily foreign politics.”

“I love my college because WHY would I go anywhere else? UK has always felt like home to me and I never thought I could have that on a large campus. Let’s not forget the sports teams… who could turn down a school with the best basketball team in the nation? It’s really hard to even explain the feeling of pride I get when I walk into another city wearing UK from head to toe screaming “GO CATS!” For example, spring break in Texas right after we beat Texas A&M for the SEC championship was a blast!”

“I major in Biomedical Sciences and later I plan to get my Master’s Degree to become a dentist. I think that majoring in Biomedical will help me understand the medical program and give me an advantage as a dentist.”

“In school you can find me involved in the CSUF pre vet club which opens a lot of doors and opportunities for me and my fellow classmates who are aspiring to attend vet school. Unfortunately, after my freshman year I quit softball so that I could focus on school.”
