Miss COED 2016 contestant and fitness guru Miranda Leigh is teaming up with College Candy to provide even the most gym opposed people simple workout and health tips for a healthier lifestyle. So forget the Crossfit and drop the juice cleanse, it’s no longer necessary (and far too much work). Let’s get fit.

Hi again! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend and is as excited as I am about this fall weather! Jumping right into this week’s topic, I want to talk about how you can use supplements to help reach your goals. We all know that your diet and exercise routine is very important to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. However, a lot of people fail to realize that they may need a little extra push in some areas. There are tons of different types and brands of supplements on the market claiming to aid your healthy routine in different ways. I have experimented with different supplements over the past few years to find what works best for me. While we all do react to supplements differently, the supps below have been my personal favorite.

If you want additional protein intake, try NLA for Her Whey Protein.

Without an adequate amount of protein, our muscles aren’t able to repair themselves as quickly, meaning overtraining them could lead to injury. Achieving an adequate amount of protein every day comes with numerous benefits. The production of lean muscle also causes you to burn more calories on a regular basis therefore more lean muscle = fat loss.

If you want to lose fat, try NLA for her CLA.

A general CLA supplement is my favorite for fat loss. CLA is a fatty acid that is naturally produced in your body. A lot of fat burners will make you jittery and can come with some unpleasant side effects, but this one if one of the few all-natural fat burners that I’ve been able to tolerate.

If you want healthier hair, try Biotin.

Is there anyone who doesn’t want healthy, luxe hair? I use VitaFusion Biotin gummies from the grocery store.

If you want to be generally healthy, try a multivitamin.

I take Vitafusion Women’s multivitamin gummies from the grocery store. EVERYONE should make a multivitamin part of their daily routine. You don’t always get the vitamins you need from your diet and it’s important to keep your vitamin levels balanced.

If you want a healthy heart, try NLA for Her Omegas

Omegas are very important in preventing disease, and have been proven to aid the body in weight loss, fertility, healthy pregnancy, healthy skin and increased energy.

If you want to stay regular, try NLA for Her Probiotics

Maintain your digestive system by increasing the production of helpful bacteria in your gut with a good probiotic. Trust me on this one.

If you’re looking to detox, try NLA for Her Cleanse

Stop feeling “blah” and improve energy levels with a cleanse that promotes a healthy digestive system, prevents bloat and supports overall health. It also tastes way better than sucking down juice every few hours.

If you want to strengthen your muscles, try NLA for Her Aminos

Prevent muscle breakdown, shed body fat and avoid muscle soreness with just one pill. Who said being healthy had to be hard?

If you’re interested in learning more about these supplements (or buying them), you can find everything you need to know here. Have a kick ass week!
