Kristen Stewart has apparently moved on from her previous relationship, and we didn’t even know that she was single. Up until very recently, Stewart has been in a relationship with Alicia Cargile, her personal assistant. Stewart and Cargile were confirmed to have been dating since the summer of 2015, and she even talked about the relationship to Elle UK. It was a pretty big deal since the star is typically super private about her personal life, but sometimes you can’t hide true love. In July, Stewart told the magazine that, “Right now, I’m just really in love with my girlfriend.” She went on to relate that the two have had a semi-rocky relationship but they were on good terms.
Well, it looks like the harmony didn’t last between the pair and Stewart didn’t waste any time moving on. Reports from US Weekly and numerous media outlets have linked Stewart to Cara Delevingne‘s ex-girlfriend, St. Vincent (aka Annie Clark), but we’re still trying to process the fact that Delevingne and St. Vincent even broke up.
St. Vincent and Delevingne had been dating for a little over a year when they broke up at the end of the summer. Stewart and St. Vincent are both getting out of long-term relationships, and seem to be getting over them with each other’s help. They have reportedly been close ever since Stewart has been doing press for her movies in New York City.
The only thing that matters is that everyone is happy and the new couple definitely seems to be, as they’ve been inseparable ever since coupling up. Stewart seems especially content with her love life, telling Elle, “I’m not ashamed, and I’m not confused. Things have changed. And not just with me- we’re really allowed to encourage this new acceptance to develop and be awesome.” Let’s hope that this positivity bodes well for the new couple!
