Our favorite foursome is putting their Manolos back on, ordering up some Cosmos and listening to Samantha’s latest sexcapades. The third installment of the Sex and the City movie series is officially in the works and Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristen Davis and Kim Cattrall are all on-board.

“All the women are officially signed up for SATC movie 3,” a source close to the cast recently told Radar. “The deal is done and the script has been approved by all the women.”

The source added that Parker, now 51, almost didn’t sign up for the highly-anticipated reunion due to issues with the script.

“There was a lot of back and forth,” they explained. “Sarah Jessica Parker was not originally on board because she didn’t like the idea of the characters being portrayed in a more mature light.” Thankfully tweaks were made and Carrie Bradshaw will grace us with her impeccable shoe collection once again.

“The full green light for Sex and the City 3 the movie is really new,” the insider added. “Everyone’s happy with how things turned out and they can’t wait to get started working together again.”

Shooting is set to start this summer and honestly, we should’ve seen this coming. Sarah Jessica Parker hinted that a third film could be in her future in October.

“[There is] always a possibility, definitely,” she told Press Association. “I don’t know whether it’s a series or the movie. I think that remains an open question and discussion that will continue until it’s been resolved.”

Here’s where we last saw our favorite New Yorkers:

While the movie might not hit theaters for a few years, we’re excited to see the first photos once filming starts. Bring on the fabulous wardrobe, am I right?
