After Barron Trump was cyber bullied by SNL writer Katie Rich, he gained an unlikely ally: Chelsea Clinton.
Katie Rich faced a barrage of criticism, and even calls to be fired by NBC, after tweeting that Donald Trump’s youngest son would be “this country’s first homeschool shooter.” It was quickly deleted Friday after being posted that afternoon. On Sunday night, Chelsea Clinton stepped in by tweeting, “Barron Trump deserves the chance every child does — to be a kid. Standing up for every kid also means opposing @POTUS polices that hurts kids.”
Barron Trump deserves the chance every child does-to be a kid. Standing up for every kid also means opposing @POTUS policies that hurt kids.

Despite the kind words, Clinton was still trashed on Twitter.

If there’s one person who knows the hardships of being a president’s child, it’s Chelsea Clinton. To us, her message was positive, but clearly others didn’t see it that way. What do you think about the tweet? Sound off in the comments below.
