Kylie Jenner Gave $10,000 To Help Cover Funeral Expenses For Her Best Friend’s Father

Kylie Jenner keeps her friends close, no matter what life throws at her. Her BFF, model Jordyn Woods, tragically had to say goodbye to her father, John Woods, last week after he unexpectedly passed away from cancer. Shortly before he died, Woods shared a photo announcing her father’s sudden illness. “Last night I found out I’m not sure how much longer I am going to have with my father but I do know that with faith and God anything is possible,” she wrote in an emotional Instagram post. “Don’t forget to tell someone how much you love and care about them today.”

After Woods’ dad passed, Jenner made sure to do just that. To cover outstanding medical bills and memorial service costs, Woods’ mother, Elizabeth Woods, began a GoFundMe campaign with a goal of raising $50,000. Most people donated between $5 and $100. But Jenner donated $10,000 to the grieving family. She left a note with her donation, simply saying “I love you guys very much.”

Although it’s difficult to actually verify who makes what contribution, it’s doubtful that anyone other than Jenner has $10,000 to donate, and so suddenly too. Woods and Jenner have been extremely close for a long time, so it seems legitimate that the celeb would want to help out as much as she can. Jenner posted a sweet and supportive tribute to her best friend shortly after John Woods passed away, saying “When you cry, I cry.”

Still. Jenner’s $10,000 may help but the pain the Woods family is feeling will need more than that to heal. Our thoughts go out to Jordyn Woods during this difficult time.
