A disturbing police video, in which a 65-year-old grandmother appears to celebrate murdering her son-in-law, has come to light.
The video is being used as evidence in Cynthia Cdebaca’s trial for the murder of Geoward Eustaquio, whom she fatally shot 10 times almost three years ago.
Cdebaca told officers that she had been planning to murder Eustaquio for weeks, according to Fox 5 News San Diego. On the morning of February 14, 2014, the two had an argument of what Cdebaca was wearing and when Eustaquio told her, “You look ghetto,” she decided to go through with her plan. Eustaquio apparently also told her that she wasn’t allowed to attend her granddaughter’s spelling bee at that time, which set her off even further.
At some point during their argument, Cdebaca fired 10 shots at Eustaquio, who had tried to seek refuge behind a nearby door. The type of gun Cdebaca used, a 38-caliber, five-shot revolver, forced her to reload the gun at least twice in order to fire 10 shots. She ultimately shot through the door and stood over Eustaquio’s body as he lay there dying. “When the officers asked if Eustaquio said anything to her, Cdebaca explained he said, ‘Grandma, I love you,'” according to Elite Daily. And when asked if she would commit the crime again, she said yes without hesitation and claimed that the family had suffered abuse from Eustaquio for years. “So mean to me, to all of them,” said Cdebaca. “Yes he is. They were afraid of him, yes. So mean to my daughter. I told her 13 years ago, he’s evil.”
According to Fox 5, Cdebaca went on to eat breakfast and gamble on the same day of the murder. At the very end of the video, she appears to be raising her hands in celebration of the murder and thanking God. You can watch the chilling video below.
