Hillary Clinton Finally Revealed What She’s Doing Next

Hillary Clinton hasn’t really been seen since a couple of joggers bumped into her while hiking around her home in Chappaqua, NY.  Sure, Clinton attended the inauguration of Donald Trump with her husband, but she didn’t say anything to the press and did nothing to attract attention. In fact, the last time Clinton directly addressed the press was during her concession speech in November, which the media reported as being given with great dignity and grace.

Finally, her silence has been broken. Clinton announced that she is going to write a book containing a series of essays about her experiences with the 2016 election, her experiences in politics and other anecdotes about her life. She also plans on including quotes that have inspired her throughout the years and ones that have helped her get through tough times.

“These are words I live by,” Clinton told the Associated Press. “I hope by sharing these words and my thoughts about them, the essays will be meaningful for readers.”

In addition to the release of her book, Clinton plans on giving a series of speeches, starting at her Alma mater Wesley College for their commencement address. Clinton, who has been a long-time advocate of political activism, spoke at her graduation from Wesley in 1969 and became a national inspiration for student activism. It certainly will be interesting to hear Clinton speak at the college while protests are going on nationwide.

Unsurprisingly, Clinton has given her support for the protests as well. She tweeted support for the Women’s March the day after the inauguration and has been vocal about her feelings about the immigration ban. Clinton is also scheduled to be a speaker on International Women’s Day. Vital Voices, an organization that Clinton co-founded with former secretary of state Madeline Albright, will be hosting the event on March 8th. Clinton is also marked down as speaking at the LGBT center in New York City on April 20th.
