Can you believe that it’s almost time for the new season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians? Honestly, it’s felt like forever since the Kardashian/Jenner fam has graced our TV screens. Thankfully, the wait is almost over.
Season 13 of Keeping Up premieres soon and it’s been so long that we had to remind ourselves just exactly where our fave family was at in their lives when the last season’s finale aired. So much happened in season 12 and so much has happened since in the lives of our favorite reality stars. We almost forgot that season 12 brought the gem that was Lord Disick back into our lives.
These were some of the crazy, hilarious and truly heartwarming moments of the past season of KUWTK. Let’s check them out.
1. Lamar’s incredible recovery.
At the very beginning of the season, Khloe and the family were still dealing with the aftermath of her ex-husband, Lamar Odom, and his overdose which occurred at the end of 2015. Odom made a triumphant return to the public when he and the whole fam attended Kanye West‘s Yeezy showcase at Madison Square Garden. It would have been an iconic moment if only for the fashion show itself, but it was incredibly poignant because of Odom’s return. He and Khloe may have officially ended things later in the season but at least the basketball star is doing better now.
2. Kendall, Kylie and Khloe’s questionable disguises.
How hilarious was this? Kendall, Kylie and Khloe lamented about the fact that they couldn’t go out in public anymore without people hounding them for photos and attention (’tis the life of a Kardashian, after all). They decided that they wanted a change and figured out that they would need to don some pretty silly disguises to do so. The result was Khloe pretending to be the grandmother of a very scene-looking Kylie and a pregnant Kendall. The gals were soon exposed but at least it gave us some LOLs while it lasted.
3. The trip to Vail (and the return of Todd Kraines).
The Kardashians decided to head to Vail for one of their annual family vacays. The trip meant a lot to them since they hadn’t been to Vail since going with their late father, Rob Kardashian Sr. They got to reunite with some old family friends and it looked like a genuinely good time was had by all… Well, most. Scott Disick‘s hilarious Todd Kraines impression returned after he got to meet the real Todd Kraines himself! The trip wasn’t entirely perfect, as is the norm for Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The family found out that Rob had proposed to his girlfriend Blac Chyna while they were skiing on the Vail slopes. They were less than pleased with the fact that they weren’t included in the momentous occasion and presented us with some interesting drama between the Kardashians and the Rob & Chyna duo.
4. The amazing Cuba trip.
When Kendall revealed that she was going to be walking in the Chanel fashion show in Cuba, the family decided to join her on a trip to Cuba. Kendall ended up not walking in the show after all, but that didn’t stop Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney from heading to the tropical locale. The members of the fam who didn’t go on the trip (Kris, Kylie and Scott) tried to make their own Cuban vacation at home but it paled in comparison to the fun times the gals had in Havana. While in Cuba they went to the Hemingway Museum, salsa dancing classes and local restaurants, all of which made us seriously want to book a trip to Cuba ASAP.
5. The baby shower drama (and Rob & Chyna’s entire relationship).
The drama between the Kardashians and Chyrob was a major plot point for the entire season. The craziness came to a head in the season 12 finale when his family wanted to throw Rob a baby shower separate from Chyna, since the pair were in the midst of one of their many breakup periods. By the way, it was Chyna’s idea to let Rob have a baby shower all to himself! Girl was trying to eliminate the drama. Rob didn’t get the memo and went off on his family. In response to the perceived slight, Rob tweeted out Kylie’s phone number. Everything about this was as wild as you’d expect. After taking it to that next level, Rob apologized to everyone in the family and they forgave him for it. Since Rob and Chyna are now broke up, we’re pretty sure this won’t be the last time their relationship brings in some more drama for Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
