Seriously, why didn’t we think of this?
Joseph Adams, a Michigan State student, is going viral after posting a “dating résumé” in response to a girl looking for a formal date for her friend on a student group.
Well, he was ready for exactly this type of situation.
Writing, “I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT,” Joey posted a copy of his résumé filled with his favorite movies, chart highlighting how he spends his time, and even some fun facts. For example, he “makes great small talk with parents” and doesn’t have a Tinder record because he doesn’t “objectify women for the sake of getting ass.”
There are even links to his social media pages for further stalking — and he admits to spending time running Facebook and Instagram accounts for his pup (read: the guy has a dog — major points right there).
The best part of this whole thing? It’s actually working.
To clarify, Joey didn’t get the formal date.
He told Buzzfeed News, “Ashley informed me that the mysterious suitor has since asked another guy to formal. I never actually talked with the girl who originally needed a date, just Ashley who originally made the Facebook post.”
However, plenty of other girls have been reaching out to him, impressed by his qualifications.
I'll be his date 🙋🏼 https://t.co/1mY5OqsF7C
