American Horror Story is one of the most highly-anticipated shows premiering this fall. Every single season Ryan Murphy keeps the fans guessing until the last minute and this season will be no different. Murphy has let some things slip about the seventh season, but who’s to know what’s real and what’s a rumor?. Here’s everything we currently know about season 7 of American Horror Story.
Here’s everything we currently know about season seven of American Horror Story.
1. The Theme
It was previously rumored that the theme would be centered around a ghost ship, among many other theories. It was recently revealed that the new season will focus on something even scarier: the 2016 election. Murphy also released a teaser photo on his Instagram of hair that’s white and blue with red roots, which gives off a patriotic vibe. Murphy also revealed that this season should be the scariest yet.
2. The Cast
So far only two AHS vets have been confirmed for the newest season: Sarah Paulson and Even Peters. Colton Haynes is the first new cast member. He announced it on his Instagram by posting an official teaser picture with the caption, “American Horror Story Season 7…already feels like home.”
Murphy also wanted to include Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton in the season but decided to scratch the idea. Maybe this season will focus on the supporters more than the election itself?
3. The Release Date
So far, it’s easy to tell that this season, much like all of the others, will premiere in mid-September and run through the fall season. The actual release date hasn’t been announced yet, but fans are speculating that it’ll premiere either September 12 or 13 based on the other season’s premiere dates.
With all of that information in mind, fans are speculating that this is going to be one of the best seasons yet. I won’t deny that I’m also silently praying for Jessica Lange to make a comeback.
