Since their debut as President and First Lady back in 2009, Barack and Michelle Obama have been the epitome of #goals.
With every loving stare and all of the sweet tenderness displayed in their photos, anyone with two eyes can tell that what the Obamas have is the real deal. So it’s no surprise that couples around the globe would want to recreate some of their iconic photos to have for their own.
And that is exactly what one couple from Cleveland, Ohio did to announce their engagement.
With the help of the super-talented Natasha Herbert, a wedding photographer from Cleveland, Ohio, and event planner Covesa Gragg, newly engaged couple Cassi and Adam got their dream made a reality.
Herbert posted the results of the photo shoot on her Instagram and the results were breathtaking. Each photo was recreated perfectly, from the poses to the little details in their clothing.

It was great to team up with @covesakellyevents and bring her vision to life. One of the images from Herbert’s post was from a photoshoot from Essence magazine, which reached out to Herbert and Gragg upon seeing their photo recreated.
According to Essence, the couple only asked to recreate one photo but Gragg decided to turn it into something more extravagant.
“When our Bride and Groom said ‘Can we try and duplicate one of their famous shots for our engagement pics?’ I was like let’s do an entire shoot — we can do this and this and THIS!” explained Gagg.
This photo shoot could not have been a more perfect ode to the former first family and also a beautiful representation of blissful love.
Congrats to the happy couple!
