With Dancing With The Stars season 25 quickly approaching, both contestants and pros have been officially confirmed.
The full cast of stars was officially announced on the morning of September 6, with the pros announced in the weeks prior.
For the professional dancers, fan favorites like Mark Ballas, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Peta Murgatroyd and Emma Slater were all confirmed previously on Good Morning America. There will be one “surprise pro” announced along with the celebrity cast on September 6.
Ballas is returning this year after a two-year hiatus on the show and he was the one who went on GMA to make the announcement.
“After a year off you kind of see it in a new light. I miss being creative and I miss my friends and the time was right,” Ballas said.
We are excited to have you back, Mark!
As for stars, Drew Scott from HGTV’s Property Brothers and Nikki Bella from WWE’s Total Divas are among the fan faves. They’re joined by married couple Nick and Vanessa Lachey, Shark Tank judge Barbara Corcoran and more.
Scott is most well-known for working with his twin brother Jonathan on assessing and flipping houses and most recently, Bella received lots of media attention when then boyfriend — now fiance — John Cena proposed to her on live TV during Wrestlemania 33.
OG DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba has confirmed coming back to judge but none of last season’s judges — Len Goodman, Bruno Toniloni or Julianne Hough have verbally confirmed whether or not they are coming back onto the show.
The show’s 25th season is set to air on September 18, 2017, at 8:00 P.M. EST on ABC.
