Monday nights spent on the ballroom stage begin in only four days. On September 6, the cast for season 25 of Dancing With The Stars was officially announced on Good Morning America.
Over the next 10 weeks, after the stage starts hopping and the music starts thumping, the celebrity contestants will be showing off their best (or worst) moves.
But who will be judging these 13 contestants when they fall, miss a step, or completely nail their dance routine?
Three of the four judges are confirmed and will be returning for season 25: Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.
All three OG DWTS judges have a background in dancing, acting, or both but Goodman, Inaba and Tonioli are most well-known for being judges on the show. Goodman brings the harsh critiques, Inaba is motivational and Tonioli brings a sassy side to the group.
Julianne Hough, after about 10 years of being a part of DWTS, however, will not be joining the three on the judging panel.
Hough didn’t mention why she left the show. Maybe she’s hoping to focus on her family and her new husband Brooks Laich. The couple recently tied the knot and already want to start a family.
Hough will definitely be missed this season as she was a relatable judge, someone that both pro dancers and contestants could identify with. Her years as a contestant, a pro dancer and a judge certainly help to inspire the contestants.
Even though there will be one less judge watching the contestants dance their hearts out this season, DWTS is also known for bringing guest judges to the show, so any vacant seats may not always remain empty.
Don’t miss the premiere of the 25th season on Monday, September 18, 2017, at 8:00 P.M. EST on ABC.
