If Say Yes To The Dress makes you tear up well go grab your tissues now. Jaquie is in a wheelchair because of a traumatic accident she was in years ago. But she was determined to not let her health get in the way of her wedding to now husband Andy. On her photographer’s site, Love Stories by Halie + Alec they wrote, “Jaquie has some unique physical conditions that make certain activities more difficult and frustrating.”
PopSugarSo when Jaquie stood up and walked down the aisle is was a beautiful moment. She spent hours in physical therapy making sure she was strong enough to make the walk, stand at the altar and dance her first dance.
PopSugarJaquie’s mom also surprised her by hiring one of her favorite artists to paint Jaquie’s and Andy’s first dance. She said that, “The first dance was as powerful as walking down the aisle for everyone. This was 200 people who love Jaquie and Andy more than anything, and they were all witnessing the culmination of a year’s hard work and hope.”
PopSugarTheir wedding was a monumental day not only because they tied the knot, but because Jaquie’s physical therapy paid off. Not to mention she looked absolutely stunning. Her dress was a blush pink with lace. It complimented her deep teal hair perfectly. I doubt that there was a dry eye all day.
