This week’s Project Runway episodes comes on the cusp of a tragedy, the death of previous contestant Mychael Knight. Knight was a finalist on season three and was a major fan favorite. His legacy lives on through his collaboration with Starbucks and his clothing line.
Last week’s episode was peak awkward when contestant Claire Batani was accused of cheating after she won the challenge. She admitted that she had kept a measuring tape at home, with her being reminded that the rules are that contestants are not allowed to keep any type of design tool outside of the workroom. Batani’s win was rescinded and she was promptly eliminated, leaving just one twin left.
Tonight’s episode challenge is a bit unexpected, with the remaining contestants using safety materials to create a groundbreaking look. We’re already imagining neon yellow and orange vests.
Tune in to tonight’s episode.
