When I heard Disney was remaking The Lion King, I had my doubts. Sure, they can CGI a few dancing dishes and a singing candle in a live-action Beauty and the Beast, but a bunch of A-listers as animals? Not so fast, Hollywood.

Well, when I’m wrong, I usually deny until people stop arguing with me. But this time, I’ll admit it. This movie is going to rule like Simba over the Pride Lands because this cast is fire.

Beyoncé, Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, and more stars have officially signed on for the live-action retelling of the ultimate film.

Queen B will appropriately star as Nala opposite Glover as Simba. In a great nod to the original, James Earl Jones will reprise his role of Simba’s father, Mufasa.

The comedic roles are also cast to perfection. John Oliver will play know-it-all Zazu, Mufasa’s right-hand bird, and literally can you think of anyone better? Seth Rogen will be gassing it up as warthog Pumbaa, and Billy Eichner rounds out the pair as meerkat Timon.

Serious question: Is it 2019 yet?
