Finding a plane ticket home during the holiday season that won’t empty your bank account is a borderline miracle. But thanks to Southwest a cheap flight home may be possible, but you have to act fast, like really fast. You need to book a ticket before today is over.
Southwest’s holiday travel sale has one way tickets as low as $41 and the highest ticket is $194, but it’s from Oakland, California to Chicago, Illinois so that is understandable. But most of the flights are around $100, which is a steal this time of year.
Holiday travelers need to have their tickets booked by today Monday, November 6. The tickets are not refundable so make sure you are set with the takeoff dates. Also, don’t forget that the tickets listed are one-way tickets.
Flying on a budget is tricky and Southwest’s cheap flights are great, but not perfect. The cheap airfare is only offered on certain days, so they may not be to your ideal preference, but hey at least it’s cheap. The domestic flying black out dates are from December 22-23, December 26-27 and December 30-31. But besides that the dates available will be from December 14 until January 14.
On the plus side Southwest does offer one free checked bag, so this deal seems like a no brainer. Southwest has all the cities and prices listed so buyers can take a quick glance at what their options are.
