We’ve all been there. Third-wheeling is no easy task, but someone’s got to do it. It’s especially difficult when you’re surrounded by couples, but generally, every group needs its designated single one. Who else would bring the party?

Being the perpetually single friend or family member can be extra annoying around the holidays when sappy, romantic movies are playing on repeat, couples are ice skating together without a care in the world and the family is assembling for its annual Christmas card, each member with their very own significant other.

Emily Seawright’s family created their own Christmas card this year and to say it’s hilariously relatable for all of us on #TeamSingle is an understatement.

Her parents are pictured holding a sign that says “excited,” while her sibs are with their own families, “engaged” and “expecting” respectively. What about Emily? Well, Emily is literally just Emily.

Same, Emily. Same.

After Emily posted the pic of the family card on Twitter, her fellow unattached tweeters immediately rallied in support. Emily’s tweet currently has over 40,000 retweets and nearly 300,000 favorites.

The replies are also extremely funny.

That said, if it’s up to one Twitter user, Emily won’t be just Emily for very long.

Third wheels: we see you. We appreciate you. Keep on wheelin’. You may just end up being the Beyoncé of your family Christmas card and that’s a fate much better than forever alone.
