The time has come. Grammy nominations have officially been announced and it’s kind of crazy to think of just how quickly this year has gone by. It’s been an amazing year for music, and this year’s Grammy noms really represent some of the innovations and history-making moves in entertainment over the past year. 2017 may have been rough for many reasons, but at least we’ve been able to plug into Spotify and escape for a bit.

Childish Gambino, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Lorde and Bruno Mars are all competing for the biggest title, while newbies like SZA and Cardi B are making their debut to the list of nominees thanks to chart-topping hits.
