YouTube star and Temple University student Kalen Allen has been thrust into overnight internet fame after posting reaction videos in response to some rather, uh, questionable recipes that food network sites have posted recently.
The videos begin with an unsuspecting Kalen watching someone make a recipe, which initially appears to be just another regular how-to or tutorial. As the videos progress, Kalen’s reaction slowly turns into one of horror as he witnesses our favorite comfort food recipes being altered with several disturbing twists.

One particularly alarming recipe showcases a supposed twist on a traditional German “cake.” This remix includes potatoes and apple slices marinated in a pool of cream cheese and mayonnaise then set with a decadent layer of pickles and hot dog wieners (??). WTF.

The concoction has us all confused.
