Snow is magical. If you don’t believe me, watch any episode of Gilmore Girls that takes place around wintertime and you’ll see Lorelai take a deep breath and say, “Everything’s magical when it snows. Everything looks pretty. The clothes are great. Coats, scarves, gloves, hats.” The one magical thing about snow Lorelai forgot about is puppies. More specifically, puppies and snow. Together.
If you have pup of your own or a grown dog that you still call your baby, because they totally are, you’ve probably witnessed them going crazy over the first snowfall of the year. If you haven’t witnessed this phenomena, Twitter user Jo Ellery has you covered. Ellery, who hails from North Yorkshire, posted a video to Twitter of her working cocker spaniel named Truffle experiencing snow for the first time. It’s the purest thing you’ll ever lay your eyes on:

MY HEART. THAT SKID. HE CAN’T DECIDE WHERE TO GO OR WHAT SNOWFLAKE TO TRY TO CATCH FIRST. THE SNOW HAS BEEN BLESSED.
Truffle, who is active on Twitter, is getting a lot of well-deserved recognition, all thanks to his mama. Animal lovers’ hearts everywhere are melting, and many are taking to Twitter to try to put their intelligible squeals of joy into words:

If Truffle’s excitement over fresh snow isn’t enough to convince you there’s still good in this world, maybe this tweet will:
I can't stop watching this. In a world that is a dumpster fire, this is a 25 second oasis. Thank you.
