Las Vegas residencies are reserved for the icons of the music industry. Frank Sinatra, Cher, Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez and Brittney Spears have all had residencies in Las Vegas and now Lady Gaga gets to add her name to the iconic list.
Lady Gaga tweeted the news announcing her residency. She will be creating a brand new show and anyone who has seen Gaga live knows that she doesn’t disappoint. Imagine what she will do with a permanent set?
Her residency will be at the MGM Park Theater, which has 5,3000 seats. Lady Gaga’s residency will begin in December 2018 and last two years.
“It has been a life-long dream of mine to play Las Vegas. I am humbled to be a part of a historical line-up of performers, and to have the honor of creating a new show unlike anything Vegas has ever seen before,” Lady Gaga said in a press conference according to Billboard.
The six-time Grammy winner is currently in the middle of her Joanne World Tour. The tour doesn’t wrap up until the end of February 2018. Then she has to get planning her Las Vegas show. Knowing Gaga it will definitely be out of this world. When tickets go on sale, grab them ASAP.
