Most of us hope to live to live a long life, the picture of health until our dying breaths — so long as that doesn’t mean sacrificing simple pleasures along the way.
Fortunately, Betty White is turning 96 soon, and she doesn’t credit her glowing health with cutting carbs or an extensive RBG-esque workout routine.
No, the Emmy-winner credits her longevity with vodka and hot dogs, “probably in that order.”
“Enjoy life,” she told Parade magazine in a new interview. “Accentuate the positive, not the negative. It sounds so trite, but a lot of people will pick out something to complain about, rather than say, ‘Hey, that was great!’ It’s not hard to find great stuff if you look.”
