The Royal Family Is Looking To Hire A New Assistant

We all can’t be as lucky as Duchess Kate and soon-to-be Duchess Meghan Markle and marry into the royal family. But there is a way you can spend every day in Buckingham palace like a Duchess, work for the Royal family. The family is currently looking to hire a new communications assistant and seriously anyone can apply, even you.

The job was posted on LinkedIn, which is hilarious because it’s the Royal family posting a job application on LinkedIn. The job posting says that the position is a fixed term contract that is a year long, from April 2018 until April 2019.

The year-long job is based at Buckingham Palace, which isn’t a shock but the job will also involve lots of traveling. “Although based primarily at Buckingham Palace, you’ll also travel in the UK or overseas to support important visits and engagements,” the job description reads.

On top of traveling, working for the Royal family will include writing press releases, posting on social media, organizing media coverage and writing feature articles about the Royal family. You could be the one making the Royal families end of the year highlights video next year.

The best part about the job is that it’s an entry-level position and only a degree is required on top of good writing skills. “It’s a busy and fast-paced environment. You’ll need to be well organized with good initiative, able to think on your feet and prioritize in order to meet tight deadlines.”

The annual salary is a little over $30,000 on top of employee benefits, which include 33 days off per year and 15% employer contribution pension scene. The job doesn’t specify what part of the Royal family you will work with, like Prince William or Prince Harry. The application closes at the end of the month so hurry up and get that resume done.
