Stars — they’re just like us: they too will occasionally create a fake Instagram account for the sole purpose of stalking.
In a hilariously relatable interview on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Dakota Fanning admitted to having a private Instagram account that she uses to go full Nancy Drew on any unsavory characters she might encounter.
“You have a private Instagram account,” Meyers said, and Fanning giggled in affirmation.
“There are times when you have to go deep into… you know when you can feel someone’s lying to you and you have to get down to the bottom of it?”
“I just like to know if I meet someone… who they are friends [with],” she continued. “You make me sound like a big creep.”
