Filming for The Bachelor is intense. You are stuck in a house with all these girls, no internet, no cellphone and no connection to the outside world. If you didn’t know any better this sounds a whole lot like agreed kidnapping. Seriously one of the contestants, Bekah M. was listed as a missing person on the California Department of Justice’s website.
The North Coast Journal recent cover story investigated why Humboldt County has the highest rate of mission persons report in California. The county had 35 people missing when the article was published.
They shared their story on their Facebook asking readers if they recognized any of the 35 missing people. Many pointed out that Rebekah Martinez isn’t missing, she is currently on this season of The Bachelor.
Rebekah Martinez, otherwise known at Bekah M. to Bachelor fans is one of this season’s fan favorites. Recently she revealed on the show that she only 22 years old. That’s a whole 14 years younger than the Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr.
Bekah’s mom reported her missing on November 18, 2017, around the time shooting for The Bachelor was ending. Her mom claimed she hadn’t heard from her daughter since November 12, which is probably correct because Bekah was still living in the house.
