Leslie Jones’ Live-Tweets Of The Olympics Are Better Than The Olympics Itself

Regardless of how much you might think you like the Olympics, Leslie Jones likes it more.

The Saturday Night Live comedian was hired on as a commentator for the 2016 Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro after her impassioned, unbridled enthusiasm for the various sports events went delightfully viral.

This year, she has been asked back to the Pyeongchang Winter Games, and her Twitter commentary is already bringing a much-needed sense of humor and outspoken candor to the Olympics.

As an NBC contributor, Leslie will be making TV appearances, covering live events, and meeting athletes according to Entertainment Weekly — but all of this pales in comparison to the raw commentary on her original platform: Twitter.

On Friday, she was already critiquing ice-skating wardrobe choices…

And making memes.

She cast Olympians in various Hollywood movies…

And reflected on the foreboding nature of the sport in general.

Today, she has moved onto ski-jumping, and an ice-racing sport she can’t quite figure out (though we don’t blame her).

Honestly, the Olympics should have Leslie running all of their official social media accounts.
