Wherever the Kardashian-Jenner’s go lawsuits will follow. It’s almost a natural reaction to anything they do. But unlike most of their lawsuits, which are mainly copyright and trademark based, this one is an alimony lawsuit and it involved Kendall Jenner’s new beau Blake Griffin, 28.
Griffin’s former longtime fiancé and mother to his two kids, Brynn Cameron, 31 has officially filed a lawsuit against the NBA star says Daily Mail. Cameron is saying the Griffin has refused to provide financial support for her or their kids and has “abandoned” them.
In the court papers acquired by the Daily Mail, Cameron claims Grifin “abandoned his family because he cared more about the glamour of being a Hollywood celebrity than being a father and family man.” Clearly, this is a dig at his new relationship with 22-year-old Jenner.
If it wasn’t clear enough that Cameron is obviously pissed that Griffin abruptly called off their wedding to date Jenner she name drops her in the court papers. She says that Griffin is “cruelly embarrassing his family with this public fawning over Kendall Jenner.”
Griffin is not playing around she hired high-power celeb lawyer Bryan Freedman to help file her claims. She is claiming that Griffin promise to help support her and their kids, daughter Finley Elaine and son Ford Wilson after he made her give up her career to support his NBA career.
The suit is claiming that in 2013 Griffin insisted that Cameron leave her sports marketing job and interior design business to raise their son. The suit also claims that Griffin promised to take care of her and the kid financially for the rest of their lives. This was all an oral agreement.
The suit also claims that the engaged couple was set to be married on July 28, 2017, in St. Barths. But a month before the wedding Griffin wanted them to have a prenup going back on their original oral agreement. When Cameron refused, they postponed the wedding and he went partying with Kendall Jenner.
He missed his daughter’s second birthday in November but was seen out in New York City with Jenner.
The suit claims that Cameron and their two kids are homeless and strapped for cash relying on her brother for money. Meanwhile, Griffin is raking in over $200 million between his lucrative NBA contract and endorsements. The amount that Cameron is suing him for is undisclosed.
The suit was filed today February 14 and Griffin has yet to respond.
