Staying within the continental U.S. is the easiest way to keep travel costs low. Who doesn’t love an epic road trip to kick off an epic break?

You can do the classic Daytona Beach and Fort Lauderdale spring break trips, but those aren’t for everyone or maybe you’ve already hit up those party cities! Either way, no one wants a basic spring break.

South Beach will guarantee to be a good time. It’s just about as south as you can go while staying in the U.S. so the weather will be hot and sunny, perfect for spring break. If beaches aren’t your thing there are plenty of museums and cultural history to take in. If you want to blow off some steam the clubs in Miami are unmatched. It also helps that the food in Miami is so good. Seriously Miami has it all.


2. Las Vegas, Nevada

When you hear spring break you think beach, but a trip to Sin City is better than any beach. The possibilities are endless on the Strip you can gamble, see shows, eat amazing food and of course drink. Las Vegas is all about entertaining so you won’t run out of things to do. If you need a break from partying you can also take a quick drive out of the city to go hiking in the desert.

6. Austin, Texas

Austin is perfect to visit to escape the pressures of school. The city is the capital of Texas and is known for it’s growing music scene and amazing food. The city is also surrounded by amazing state parks where you can hike and swim. Sounds like a dream.


7. Phoenix, Arizona

Relax in the desert heat in Phoenix. Arizona’s capital has so many great national parks that are perfect for hiking and soaking in the sun. If that isn’t your thing the city has so many amazing high-end spas and resorts. But you should definitely drive north a few hours to visit the Grand Canyon.

Downtown has tons of honky tonk bars with live music. Make sure to stop at the Grand Ole Opry House for a show and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
