Chad Michael Murray played brooding jock-slash-novelist Lucas Scott on One Tree Hill for six seasons, and now the actor is revisiting the “place it all started.”
The on-screen girlfriend juggler took to Instagram this week to share a photo in front of the Tree Hill bridge, and all that’s missing is a basketball and Gavin DeGraw’s soulful crooning. For the uninitiated, Lucas Scott dribbles a basketball across the bridge in the opening credits of every episode of the salacious drama.
“I returned to the place it all started,” Murray captioned his photo. “Feels like yesterday… Ok, maybe not. It feels like 15 years ago I walked this bridge for the 1st time. I’m so humbled and grateful that so so so many of you went on the adventure along with us- and still do today. Much love to you friends! #OTH #OTHBridge #OurBridge #TheBridgeThatGuidedUsAllTogether.”
For those who are eyeing the bridge with fond nostalgia, it’s located in Wilmington, North Carolina, ripe with Instagram opportunities.
BRB, going to dedicate the rest of my weekend to reliving Haley and Nathan’s unlikely love story.
