Dean Unglert & Lesley Murphy Are The Latest ‘Bachelor’ Couple To Call It Quits

The Bachelor: Winter Games has another breakup in the books: It’s over for Dean Unglert and Lesley Murphy.

E! News was first to report the split. “It is very recent, but they have been rocky for a few weeks now,” a source told the outlet. “Distance and traveling were a factor. They are both going to continue to be friendly and are on good terms, but their romantic relationship has ended.”

Unglert posted a cryptic Instagram message on Saturday pointing towards the split.

“Growing up as a kid I had a crude but utopian idea of what love is. I always had this idea that no matter what you did, no matter how you act, as long as you’re true to yourself and act in good conscious, your path would lead you to the one person on this planet you’re meant to be with,” he wrote. “As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned that although everyone DESERVES love, it’s not something we’re entitled to. Love takes work. Love is compromise. Love is earned. I still have a lot of work to do on myself, a lot to prove to myself, before I’m ready for something like that.”

Unglert and Murphy cuddled close together as they competed during Winter Games and continued their romance after filming ended.

Although the series produced a number of couples, the love hasn’t lasted. Just days ago, Clare Crawley and Benoit Beausejour-Savard ended their engagement. Prior to that, Ashley Iaconetti and Kevin Wendt ended their relationship.

Luckily, our favorite foreign couple — Lily McManus and Courtney Dober are still going strong.

“Just an update, still very much into this human bean,” Lily captioned a post with her beau over the weekend.
