The Backstreet Boys just celebrated their 25th anniversary as a band by posting a hilarious throwback photo on Twitter that’s sure to make longtime fans swoon all over again!

Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson hit the quarter-century mark as a band on Friday, April 20.

They posted an adorable throwback photo to the band’s Twitter account.

“On April 20th, 1993 we became the Backstreet Boys,” said the caption.

“If you would have told us that 25 years later we would still be making music together, we would have never believed you.”

“Thank you #BSBArmy Who’s ready for another 25 years? #KTBSPA #BSB25,” the tweet concluded.

The band recently announced an extension of their Las Vegas residency at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood.

The group also scored a number one hit on the country charts with a collaboration with Florida Georgia Line on the No. 1 hit, “God, Your Mama and Me.”

In an interview with People Magazine, Howie remarked that even he is surprised at the longevity of the band.

“If you would have asked us this 10 years ago, we would’ve been like, ‘Vegas? That’s where people go who want to retire,” he said.
