Cardi B is putting her money moves aside for the summer.
The rapper is currently in the middle of her pregnancy and has canceled all of her performances for the summer.
She posted a video on her Instagram announced that she is canceling all of her shows after Broccoli Fest this season. But she will be back for Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic tour.
“Hey y’all, what’s popping? So I just wanted to make this a little clear and everything,” Cardi said in the video. “Broccoli Fest will be my last performance for a little while and everything. Because you know shorty keeps growing!” Cardi said referencing her growing baby bump.

“And I be looking like I’ll be moving and everything but in reality? A bitch barely can’t breathe! I want to thank y’all for understanding,” Cardi stated. “I’ll be back for the Bruno Mars tour and everything. and thank y’all so much I just wanted to let yall know that.”
That means Cardi won’t be performing at Panorama Festival in New York City, Rolling Loud Festival in Miami, JMBLYA in Texas and many other shows and festivals.
Cardi won’t hit the road with Bruno Mars until early September so Cardi will be on maternity leave for about four months.
She made headlines at Coachella the other weekend for twerking during her performance while sporting a baby bump. Afterward, Cardi went on Ellen and hilariously talked about her mommy-to-be dance moves.

“I was just trying to show the world how I got pregnant in the first place,” Cardi told Ellen about her twerking. She also added that moving around makes it easier for the baby to come out.
Performing is intense in general, but doing it at the tail end of your pregnancy is a whole other level. It’s bittersweet that Cardi canceled her upcoming shows because people most likely already bought tickets, but Cardi has to look after her and the baby’s health.
There isn’t a doubt in my mind that Cardi will be back on stage twerking in no time.
