This Plus-Size Model Recreated Kim Kardashian’s KKW Body Photos

Kim Kardashian‘s body has been plastered all over social media. Her promotional shots for her new fragrance KKW Body show Kardashian nude and barely covering what needs to be covered so she can post on Instagram. Along with those shot, the bottle for KKW Body is a direct replica of Kardashian’s body. The promotional packages for the fragrance were sent out these past few weeks and every influencer has been posting about the bottle and praising Kardashian’s gravity-defying curves.

Plus-size model Carmen Rene decided to recreate Kardashian’s promotional shot for KKW Beauty to show that you don’t need to have Kardashian’s bod to have a perfect bod. Rene posted the photos on her Instagram side-by-side with Kardashian’s and wrote, “One of these bodies, a large part of our society will deem as “perfect.” My body is empowered by the opportunity to share a different reality.”

One of these bodies, a large part of our society will deem as “perfect”. My body is empowered by the opportunity to share a different reality. PERFECT: “having all the required or desirable elements, qualities, or characteristics; as good as it is possible to be.” Stop striving to be perfect because guess what, you are there! What a beautiful definition 💕. Today, at this very moment my body is as good as it possibly can be. I can’t change it today, and tomorrow it may be different, it will still be perfect. There is no body better than the next. There is no one body that is “perfect”. There is your body, unique, worthy, desirable and perfect. All body’s are good bodies ❤️ . . #everyBodyBeautiful #unique #bodylove #embraceyourbody #perfectbody #worthybody #beunique #eatthecaketoo #carmenrene #bbwlove #bodyconfidence #loveyourbody #bodypositive #plusisequal #normalizenudity #getoverit #kkwbeauty @kimkardashian #stretchmarks #stretchmarksarebeautiful #zebrastripes

“We are constantly surrounded by this idea of what the ‘perfect body’ should look like,” Rene told Yahoo Lifestyle. “What I’m inspired by is the idea that all bodies are good bodies. All bodies are perfect bodies. This is not a competition but rather an opportunity to remind others that your body is worthy of your acceptance and beautiful just as it is.”

The KKW Body bottle is to celebrate Kardashian’s body, but many of the influencers who received a PR box celebrated her bod by putting theirs down or exclaiming that Kardashian’s body was goals. Jen Atkin, the woman behind almost all of the Kardashian family and Chrissy Teigen‘s hairstyles, proclaimed on her Instagram story that she had to go to the gym after seeing Kardashian’s mini body.

Kardashian has spoken many times about her body and how hard she works to look the way she does. “Shout out to my trainer Melissa Alcantara who really changed my body,” Kardashian wrote on an Instagram post last month. “When I wasn’t happy with what I saw back in the mirror I spent a whole year training so hard 5 or 6 days a week putting in a lot of work and changed the way that I eat and there’s such a noticeable difference. I am firm and less cellulite and so much more confident.”

We can celebrate Kardashian’s body without putting our own bodies down. Like Rene said, all bodies are good bodies.
