Meghan Markle‘s dog Guy recently scored the most coveted seat in all of the British Royal Family. He got to hitch a ride with the Queen in her car on the way to Windsor Castle.

Guy managed to score a coveted seat even before his mom, Meghan!

Guy has been on a pretty incredible journey over the past few years.

Meghan adopted him in 2015, just before he was going to be put down by a shelter in Kentucky after he was discovered alone in the woods.

He was rescued by an Ontario-based charity that saves beagles on the kill list in the US and brings them to Canada for refuge.

IT was in Tornoto that Meghan adopted Guy while she was filming the series Suits.

Guy moved to London with Meghan in November, shortly after her engagement to Prince Harry.

Meghan and Queen Elizabeth both share a love of dogs.

The Queen is very fond of corgis.

In fact in May, the Queen’s last corgi, Willow, passed away at the age of 14.

In their first joint interview as a couple, Harry remarked that Meghan and the Queen’s dogs bonded upon meeting.

“For 33 years, [I’ve been] barked at, and this one walks in, and absolutely nothing, just wagging tails,” said Harry.
