With the Fourth of July quickly approaching, it’s time to get ready for everyone’s favorite way to celebrate: fireworks. While you can find a fireworks show virtually anywhere, what better place to watch one than New York City?
Macy’s puts on an exciting fireworks show every year that starts around 9:25 pm. You can watch the show from almost anywhere in the city or on your television, but here are some fun places to stake out instead.
Midtown’s most exciting new rooftop bar is offering a special event for the Fourth. Customers can pay $200 to watch the fireworks from Ophelia’s terrace and drink throughout the night. The bar is serving free, holiday-themed cocktails and delicious food.
The Ides is also offering a ticketed event to watch the fireworks. Customers can pay $100 for indoor tables with skyline views, $75 for outdoor tables with partial skyline views, and $50 for standing room.
Brooklyn’s favorite dance club is offering a Fourth of July event starting at 10 pm.
If you want to watch the fireworks from the water, the Brooklyn Barge is the perfect place. To watch directly from the water, make sure you purchase your $155 tickets.
Northern Territory is serving food and drinks to customers ages 21 and up. The bar is offering boozy cotton candy and festive cocktails. Tickets cost $60 and are only available to purchase with cash in person at 4 pm on July 4. $20 of the ticket price goes to Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project, an organization that aids refugees coming to the United States.
