On July 8 news broke that Justin Bieber put a ring on it, it being Hailey Baldwin’s finger. TMZ reports that two eyewitnesses saw the proposal go down in the Bahamas. They said that everyone was at a restaurant at the resort the couple was staying at. The couple was dancing and doing the salsa, then Bieber’s security told everyone to put their phones away.
TMZ says that Bieber proposed to Baldwin in front of everyone. The proposal supposedly went down on Saturday, July 7. Bieber and Baldwin haven’t confirmed their engagement, but there have been photos of the ring and congratulations from family members.
Baldwin’s dad Stephen Baldwin tweeted a lengthy congratulations to the couple then promptly deleted the tweet. Stephen tweeted that he and his wife Kennya “Always pray for God’s will!!” and that he has a smile on his face over the news. He also wrote that God is moving into the hearts’ of “JB&HB.” He then congratulated Bieber’s parents.

Speaking of Bieber’s parents, they also posted ominous congratulatory posts on their social media pages after the engagement. Bieber’s dad Jeremy Bieber posted a photo the day after Bieber and Baldwin allegedly got engaged congratulating his son. The photo shows Bieber on the beach with the caption, “@justinbieber Proud is an understatement! Excited for the next chapter!”

Then Bieber’s mom Pattie Mallette tweeted an ominous message the day after the proposal went down.
The two were seen PDA-ing it up in the Bahamas. Usually, celebrity couples keep it pretty lowkey, but there are multiple videos of the couple kissing, hugging and dancing in front of fans who are filming. The day of the proposal the two were seen getting cozy on and off the dance floor.

There hasn’t been confirmation from either the Baldwin’s or Bieber’s camp, but there are photos of the ring and it’s massive. The day after the proposal Baldwin was seen sporting a new massive diamond on her left ring finger.

The two spent their first day as an engaged couple at Nippers Bar & Grill in the Bahamas. There isn’t that much detail about the ring so far as price tag and cut. But we can tell you it’s an oval shaped ring that is hard to miss because of its size.
As far as Selena Gomez goes, she’s chilling on a boat in New York City and seems to not care at all that her ex is engaged to the girl who has caused them to enter couples therapy.

The couple has officially confirmed their engagement on social media. On July 9 Bieber posted an Instagram gallery of photos of the two with a lengthy caption.

So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindLY. I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make. My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first!”
Word does travel fast when you propose in public in the middle of a resort and then the next day flaunt the ring off.
