Kylie Jenner Explains Why She & Travis Scott Keep A Low Profile

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott broke the internet earlier this year when they announced the birth of their daughter Stormi Webster. But the couple has kept a pretty low profile. Jenner never posts photos of the two together and publicly keep their relationship out of the limelight. The most coupley thing they’ve done since having their daughter is attend the Met Gala together. So it’s shocking that the two new parents are the joint cover stars for GQ’s August cover.

It’s their first cover and joint interview and it’s so interesting to see the two actually interact. In their interview with Mark Anthony Green, Jenner reveals that the two keep their love under wraps on purpose.

It’s not easy to date a Kardashian-Jenner. They thrive in the spotlight, but the intense scrutiny is enough to make many, many, many men run. It’s called the Kardashian Curse, something Scott Disick (one of the men who has thrived and fallen in the Kardashian spotlight) coined.

Even though Jenner and Scott don’t believe in the curse they do acknowledge that the Kardashian spotlight isn’t for Scott, so they avoid it.

When asked about the curse Scott is very blunt. “I don’t even be looking at motherf***ers. I don’t be looking at s**t. Kylie actually like me for me,” Scott said. Then he was asked if he was nervous about the curse. “Man, hell nah. Nervous for what? I’m on my own island. So hey, come over there to Astroworld. I’, not into all the other s**t. I don’t get involved. I’m over here. Kylie is different.”

When Kylie was asked about the “curse” she was super frank that most guys aren’t built to be in the intense spotlight that she and her family created for themselves.

“I don’t think he’s really cool with [the scrutiny], but he deals with it, because we love each other and we have a family,” Jenner told GQ. “For sure, I know he doesn’t like the attention. That’s why we just go the extra mile to keep our relationship super private, or like, if he has events or something, I won’t come. Because I want him to do his own thing. I want him to be him. I don’t want it to be Kylie and Trav. If people don’t ever see us together, that’s okay with me, because we just do our thing.”
