Today is National Tattoo Day, and while many people are using this day as the perfect time to get their new tattoos, some are hiding their permanent body art. You have heard of tattoos gone wrong and people hiding them or covering them up. Or there are the people that get tattoos, but they get them in such small places that they are easily hidden every day.
Have you ever wondered if any celebrities have hidden tattoos? Well, you’re in luck because we found seven celebrities who have hidden or “not so talked about” tattoos that we are sharing with you. Check out the must-see details.
The newly engaged model to Justin Bieber has never been too shy about showing off her ink on social media. However, the few tattoos she has posted about don’t quite add up to the 19 total the model has.
Baldwin is a mega fan of celebrity tattoo artist, Jon Boy where she is featured often sharing all her fresh ink. “I think the really little dainty tattoos are very, like, they’re very pretty on girls,” She told The Cut in April 2018. “I think now I’m going to chill out for a second on the tattoos because I’m running out of spots.”
Benn Affleck’s history of hiding his, lack of a better term, very obvious, back tattoo dates back to 2016. The first photos of his tattoo appeared in 2016, where he quickly shot down rummers and told Extra’s Mario Lopez it was fake and for a movie. “I actually do have a number of tattoos, but I try to have them in places where you don’t have to do a lot to of cover-up.”
After squashing the rumors and moving forward a few years, The New Yorker published an article titled “The Great Sadness of Ben Affleck” which had a shot of the “fake” back tattoo. Nice try Ben, but it looks like either you were lying or that’s some serious commitment to fake tattoos.
Even after all the special effects makeup, the Avengers actress has had, to the naked eye she doesn’t seem to have any permanent ink. In 2014 Zoe Saldana confessed to having “almost 10” hidden tattoos while on The Late Show With David Letterman. “I am running out of private places to put them on.” Among the tattoos is the word “heal” in Hebrew under her right breast.
While her husband, who also has many tattoos, is supportive of her ink she has another family member who isn’t so keen on the permanent body art as they are. “My grandmother says that I look like a newspaper naked,” she told Letterman.
Not every tattoo is a proud moment and High School Musical star Zac Efron, unfortunately, had one of those “not so proud” moments. Efron rocks the 2011 phrase, “you only live once” or YOLO on the back of his hand.
The tattoo was first spotted on a press tour for New Year’s Eve in December 2017. We’re not entirely sure if he was trying to show off his wild side or if he stuck in 2011, either way, we’re not all in this together, sorry Zac.
Jennifer Aniston got her first tattoo back in 2011, and for a good reason. After her 15-year-old Welsh Corgi-Terrier, Norman passed away she decided to pay homage to her beloved pet. Aniston got the dog’s name tattooed on the inside of her right foot to forever be apart of her.
“That’s my dog. My baby who just passed away.” She told ET Canada during an interview. “I never thought that would ever happen. It’s just my way to pay homage to him… forever.”
All-American sweetheart Reese Witherspoon doesn’t come across as a tattoo type girl, however, don’t let her girl next door looks and sweet personality fool you, this star is inked. While her tattoo isn’t too noticeable when the actress was out on vacation in a bikini in 2011 the whole world saw her body art.
Her tattoo was first a star on her tummy, and later she got two adjacent birds after she and husband, Jim Toth tied the knot. A source close to Witherspoon told Us Weekly, “She had wanted to do something new and different for a while. In some ways [the start tattoos] kind of symbolize their new life and love together.”
In 2015, it was reported that Gossling had dedicated a new tattoo to his firstborn child, Esmerelda when he was seen in public with “ESME” written on his knuckles. However, any further appearances in public there were no signs of the ink, who knows maybe he just wanted to see what he’d look like before making it permanent.
Despite the fake tattoo, Gossling does have a few tattoos in which he spoke about with W Magazine back in 2010. “I like when they look bad, but no one will do bad tattoos. So I did one myself. That’s why it’s bad. I’m waiting to get old- I think old guys with tattoos look good.
