Floribama Shore just started airing its second season and it’s going out with a bang, literally. Aimee Hall, 25, who is a star on the MTV reality show is being sued over a fight that happened while filming.

According to Page Six, they obtained the court documents detailing the lawsuit. The legal documents filed by Melissa Bensinger claim that Hall physically attacked her. She said on May 18, 2018 she was at Ms. Newby’s bar where Hall was filming Floribama Shore. The suit claims that Hall “attacked [her] by grabbing her and then forcefully punching her in the face.”

The suit claims that after the alleged beatdown Hall and other cast members fled the scene. “After battering [Bensinger], Aimee Hall, along with several other cast members of ‘Floribama Shore’ and other agents or employees of Defendant, 495 Productions Holdings, fled the scene,” the suit claims.

Bensinger claims that Hall was tracked down by a deputy after the attack. The responding officer reported that when he arrived at Ms. Newby’s Bensinger “was crying and stated she had been struck in the face.” Then the bar’s security identified Hall as being the assailant and even confirmed that she hit Bensinger “in her face with a closed fist.”

Hall claims that Bensinger confronted her and “bucked” at her. In defense, Hall threw water at Bensinger’s face.

The lawsuit was filed in May and Hall has since been given notice to appear in court. She pleaded not guilty in June. But now according to the suit, Bensinger is looking $15,000 for her “serious bodily injury and emotional injury and resulting pain and suffering, mental anguish, embarrassment, medical expenses, and medical and nursing care and treatment.”

On top of suing Hall, Bensinger is also suing 495 Productions and asking for an injunction to stop MTV from airing the footage of the alleged attack.

This isn’t the first time a bar fight has broken out while filming Floribama Shore. During the first season, a fight was filmed in the parking lot of the bar Donovan’s. At dollar draft night, a local woman starts yelling insults at Nilsa. Nilsa was just insulted be a guy inside the bar and went outside with Hall to catch some fresh air.

Then before you know it the entire cast is jumping in ready to fight and fight they do.

You can see security stepping in trying to stop the local woman. She is seen antagonizing the group and tries to come at them many times. Then Kortni comes out of nowhere and starts swinging. The local woman and her boyfriend are fighting the bouncer and Hall start getting in on the action.

Even though fights are great for television, they aren’t great if you’re trying to stay out of legal trouble.
