Fenty Beauty is coming out with a brand new Killawatt highlighter and it’s doing more than just give you an popping glow. The proceeds from their new Diamond Ball-Out highlighter are going the Clara Lionel Foundation. That’s right, 100 perfect of the proceeds are going to charity.
The CLF was founded in 2012 by Rihanna herself. According to their Instagram, the foundation “supports and funds groundbreaking and effective education and emergency response programs around the world.”
The foundation is named after Rihanna’s grandparents, Clara and Lionel Braithwaite. On top of funding an supporting health and education around the world, they work to improve the quality of life for communities.
The highlighter is coming out a little before the Diamond Ball, the annual charity the CLF and Rihanna host. The name for the highlight was obviously inspired by her charity event The silver diamond inspired highlight will be available on August 1 on Fenty Beauty’s website only.
“This very special silver Killawatt takes highlight to a whole other level,” Rihanna said in a statement. “It will have you glowing like never before because whenever you wear it, you’re supporting children and other people in need all around the world.”
Rihanna’s charity work is impressive. Rihanna has previously partnered with Global Citizen to help raise money for Global Partnership for Education. In February it was announced that she raised $2.3 billion for global education reform.
The highlighter looks like the perfect opposite of Rihanna’s iconic Trophy Wife highlight. The Trophy Wife is so iconic they repackaged the highlighter for Rihanna’s 30th birthday and dubbed it Dirty Thirty.
Diamond Ball-Out can be used to as a pigmented shadow or a sheer shimmery highlight.
